

Obituary of Nancy Jean Pike
Nancy Pike age 64 passed away June 6, 2018 in Bellingham after a valiant 10 month fight with cancer.
Nancy was born in Bellingham to Eric and Birgit Westman on June 24, 1953.
She grew up in the Columbia neighborhood and Attended Columbia, Shuksan, and Graduated from Bellingham High in 1971.
She was married to Rick Pike June 26, 1971. She lived in Custer and Lynden and then moved back to the Columbia neighborhood where she lived for 22 years.
She loved traveling, traveling to 45 of the 50 states as well as Canada and Germany. One of her favorite trips was to New York city where she got to see Ellis Island and the statue of Liberty. She went to the top of the Empire State building despite her fear of heights. She loved the warmth and lack of rain in Arizona and had plans to retire there.
Most of all she loved her family and spoiling her Grandchildren. Her favorite holiday was Christmas and she spent many happy hours shopping for the kids.
She was predeceased by her parents, infant brother Einar and infant Great Grandson Aiden.
She is survived by her husband Rick, Daughter Rayna Orgill (John) of Chattaroy WA, Son Ryan (Loralei) of Lynden WA, Daughter Renea Pike (Mike Biondi) of Henderson NV, 14 Grandchildren Hunter, Griffyn, Hudson, Tarah, Keiska, Taiomah, Cort, Adriana, Cannon, Mallory, Connor, Cash, Ava and Scarlett, 4 Great Grandchildren Hailee, Jaelynn, Kinley and Evalina, Brothers Henry Westman (Judy) of Lynden, Frank Westman (Judy) of Mountlake Terrace, Jack Westman (Sue) of Snohomish, Jim Westman (Ruth) of Stevensville, MT, David Westman (Rae Ann)of Bellingham, and Sisters
June Broadwell of Savannah GA, Elsie Nelson (Bud) of Bellingham, and Linda Hemminger (Jim) of Nine Mile Falls
A celebration of Life is planned July 28th 2018 at the Bender Field Kitchen in Lynden from 1 to 5 PM. A short presentation will take place around 3:00 PM. The Kitchen is on the south west end of the field near the Bocci ball court.
